Canucks vs. Devils betting preview
The Canucks have no time to feel sorry for themselves after a hard-luck loss to the Rangers on Saturday. Vancouver outshot the Blueshirts, 39-12, but lost the contest, 5-3.
It’s fair to argue that Saturday’s loss was the best game that the Canucks played in at least a month, but hockey is a cruel sport and doesn’t always reward the better team.
Betting on the NHL?
It’s no guarantee that Vancouver will carry over that form into Newark, but the Canucks should like their chances given New Jersey’s struggles at 5-on-5 over the last 10 games.
The Devils were one of the best 5-on-5 teams in the NHL for the first half of the season, but things have been trending in the wrong direction in that department for quite some time.
