76ers vs. Wizards prediction
Quentin Grimes has been unreal for the 76ers.
This month, Grimes is averaging 28 points per game, including scoring 25 or more in eight straight contests.
It’s not just because he’s taking all the shots left vacant by the absence of Joel Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey, either.
Grimes has been extremely efficient scoring the ball, shooting 51.7 percent overall and 39.8 percent from three on 19.5 shots per game in March.
Only Ja Morant and Nikola Jokic are shooting the ball more efficiently on that many attempts this month.
That’s the kind of company Grimes is keeping.
On Wednesday night, the Sixers will take on the Wizards, who are one of the few teams having a more miserable season than Philadelphia.
The Wizards are absolutely awful on the defensive end, giving Grimes one of his best chances yet to show off his late-season breakout.
Betting on the NBA?
No team is allowing more points per game (120.5) than Washington.
Grimes has upped his shot frequency from deep, shooting at least seven three-balls in each of those eight games.
That’s a good sign ahead of his date with the Wizards, who are giving up the fourth-most threes per contest (14.2) in the NBA this season.
