Say goodbye to the road.
Following a pair of series on the road, the New York Mets will return to Citi Field for their home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday, April 4.
The game will be the first at the ballpark since the exhilarating 2024 season — who can forget Grimace, OMG and Pete’s playoff pumpkin? — and also mark the Flushing debuts for perennial All-Star signee Juan Soto as well as innings eaters Clay Holmes and Griffin Canning.
Now, all they have to do is play ball.
If you want to see manager Carlos Mendoza’s scrappy yet big-budget team (and returning stars Francisco Lindor, Pete Alonso and Mark Vientos) live at Citi Field, last-minute tickets are available for this Friday’s home opener.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on tickets was $57 before fees on Vivid Seats.
100-level seats start at $103 before fees.
Too deep for your pocketbooks?
We dug a little and found much cheaper tickets available for the game the very next day.

Mets news
As of now, the Mets are sitting at 2-2 after a rocky first series against the Astros and a defiant 10-2 win over the Marlins.
In that Miami slugfest, Pete Alonso broke out with a grand slam. Starling Marte, Luis Torrens and Brandon Nimmo followed suit and all went yard as well.
“We just had great team at-bats the entire game,” Alonso said. “You can’t have that big ending without team quality at-bats, and we did that throughout the entire game.”
