It’s over for Quinta Brunson and Kevin Anik.
The “Abbot Elementary” creator, 35, has decided to pull the plug on her marriage after 3.5 years.
Brunson, who stars as Janine Teagues in the ABC comedy since 2021, filed for divorce from Kevin Jay Anik in Los Angeles County Superior Court, TMZ reported on Thursday, March 20.

The Emmy winner made it clear that the two have a postnuptial agreement, and she wants to stick to it.
In the documents, Brunson is reportedly demanding the court divide the property up as they agreed upon in the postnup — aka a written agreement executed after marriage — and for each of them to pay their own attorney’s fees.
Brunson cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. She also put “TBD” as the date of separation.
The exes don’t have any children together, so custody won’t be an issue.
The Post reached out to Brunson’s rep for comment but did not hear back immediately.
Brunson and Anik got engaged in July 2020, and they said “I do” in 2021.
The sitcom star recently hinted there might have been trouble in paradise when she stepped out without her wedding ring — or her husband — at the SAG Awards in February.
Brunson wore a white lace Christian Dior gown to the show, pairing the elegant look with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, but her left ring finger was noticeably bare.
This is a developing story.
