The wife of “Ghost Adventures” host Aaron Goodwin has agreed to plead guilty to soliciting a hitman to kill the paranormal TV star, according to a report.
Victoria Goodwin, 32, filed the plea agreement with the Clark County District Court on Monday, agreeing to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder — an offense that will put her behind bars for two to 10 years, KSNV reported.
The wife of the self-styled ghost hunter was arrested last month for messaging an inmate at a Florida prison in 2024 to organize a murder-for-hire scheme targeting her hubby.
“Am I a bad person? Because I chose to end his existence. Not divorce,” police cited Victoria texting the inmate.
She allegedly offered $11,515 to pay for the job and passed along info about her husband’s location to the inmate to provide to a hitman he was communicating with to pull off the kill.
It wasn’t clear what happened with the hitman, who was allegedly supposed to take out the actor while he was filming “Ghost Adventures” in California. According to police, Goodwin made a down payment of $2,500 to have the hit carried out.
The alleged murder-for-hire plot was uncovered after Florida corrections officers confiscated the inmate’s phone.
Prosecutors originally charged Goodwin with both conspiracy and solicitation to commit murder before dropping the solicitation charge last week.
The actor filed for divorce soon after his wife’s arrest, writing in his complaint that there is no chance of reconciliation.
Prosecutors will not make any recommendation at her sentencing, according to the outlet.
Goodwin is set to enter her plea during an arraignment hearing next Tuesday.
